Product Description

La Baume Saint-Paul – Cabernet Sauvignon
Languedoc-Roussillon – France – 14,5% Alc. Vol.
La Baume is a well-known, prominent winery from the Languedoc in France. Their ‘Saint-Paul’ series is named after a good friend of one of the wineries previous owners. This Cabernet Sauvignon is a very elegant and expressive wine. It has aromas of blackberries and spices. It is round and very fruity on the palate. A delicious wine to enjoy with lamb, grilled meat, and cheeses.

Domaine Clavel Regulus – Grenache/Carignan/Cinsault
Côtes du Rhône – France - 14% Alc. vol
The Clavel family has been making wines since 1640. Their vineyard consists of more than 100 plots, all with different terroir. This gives every Clavel wine a distinct character. This red blend is powerful, yet charming. It has aromas of fresh red fruits and cacao. The wine is soft and fruity on the palate and it has a nice lingering, velvety finish.

Domaine de la Serre – Picpoul de Pinet
Languedoc – France – 12,5% Alc. Vol
Domaine de la Serre is located in the Languedoc, near Montagnac. The winery only grows Picpoul de Pinet grapes, so it’s no surprise that this is a Picpoul de Pinet wine. It has a fresh scent of aromas of citrus fruits, such as lime and mandarin. These aromas are also recognizable on the palate, but with an added hint of spice. The grapes to make this wine are harvested at night, when it’s cool. This makes this wine fresh and the perfect aperitif.

Hans Baer – Riesling
Rheinhessen – Germany – 12% Alc. Vol
This wine comes from the Rheinhessen region, the largest of Germany’s 12 wine-producing regions. Hans Baer is an international winery with selected German quality wines. Their Riesling is young and fresh with distinct fruity aromas of white peach, and notes of lime and fresh kiwi. It is smooth on the palate with fruit aromas of white peach and yellow apple. The typical Riesling minerality enhances the depth of the wine. Great as an aperitif, but will also pair well with seafood.

Calvet Réserve – Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon
Bordeaux – France – 13,5% Alc. vol
A lovely ruby colored blend from Bordeaux, made from 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. A classic blend, since over 90% of Bordeaux wines are made with these grape varieties. This wine has a complex nose of crystallized red berry fruit (strawberry and blackcurrant), spicy aromas and smoked notes. As is typical for Bordeaux wines, it is round, full-bodied with silky tannins and well balanced. The finish is long and fruity with notes of gingerbread, caramel and black pepper. Serve alongside red meats, game or soft cheeses. Serve between 16 and 18°C. This wine develops even further with two hours of decanting before drinking.

O Sauvion Haut-Poitou - Sauvignon Blanc
Loire – France - 12% Alc. Vol
This Sauvignon Blanc is an award-winning wine. It received several medals in the past, including a gold medal at the ‘Concours Des Grand Vins de France à Macon in 2019. The wine is very translucid with silver glints. The nose presents a nice aromatic expression of citrus, grapefruit, kiwi and white flowers. It’s fresh, and crunchy on the palate, with a very pleasant volume and fruitiness and has a slightly peppery finale. Ideal as an aperitif or will perfectly accompany a fish in sauce and seafood. It will also be wonderful with fresh cheeses.

Nero Marone – Pinot Grigio
DOC Delle Venezie– Italy – 12.5% Alc. Vol
Pinot Grigio, the Italian equivalent of the French Pinot Gris, is grown throughout Northern Italy but is most commonly found in Veneto. The wine is yellow colored with a fresh green hue. It has an expressive and fresh nose that reveals notes of fresh fruits and hints of white flowers. It is well balanced on the palate and offers yellow fruit aromas with floral notes. This crisp Pinot Grigio is ideal as an aperitif but will also perfectly accompany grilled fish and light cheeses. Best served chilled between 8 - 10C°.

Castillo de Aresan – Tempranillo Tinto Fino
Vino de la Tierra de Castilla IGP – Spain – 14% Alc. Vol
The vineyard of Castillo de Aresan is located 230 kilometers from Alicante, Valencia and Madrid. Thanks to its location and the climate, it is possible for Aresan to grow their grapes 100% organically. In addition, no animal proteins are used to filter the wine, which also makes it a 100% vegan wine. Castillo de Aresan mainly produces red wines, only 15% of the grapes are used to make white wine. This Tempranillo is fruity, aromatic, with aromas of fresh and ripe fruits (raspberry, strawberry). Good balance on the palate, with finesse and freshness. It is ideal to pair with thin slices of Iberian ham, a rib of beef with pepper or an omelet with chorizo.

Fox Grove – Sémillon - Chardonnay
South-Eastern – Australia – 13.5% Alc. Vol
This clear, golden colored wine from the Murray valley in South-eastern Australia, is a blend of 70% Sémillon and 30% Chardonnay. The grapes for this blend are harvested mostly at night because of the chilly temperatures. The wine has aromas of citrus fruits, with a touch of vanilla. It is balanced and approachable, with substance and warmth and reveals notes of white fruits. It can be enjoyed best as an aperitif or paired with salads, white meats and cheese.

D’Amati – Negroamaro - Merlot
IGP Puglia – Italy – 13% Alc. Vol
Located in the far south-eastern corner of the boot of Italy, Puglia is a long, thin wine region that covers about 83 000 hectares. Mostly planted with red wine varieties, such as the Negroamaro and the Merlot that made this powerful blend. The wine has a deep dark red color. As to expect from a blend of Negroamaro and Merlot grapes, you’ll recognize aromas of wild berries, cherries, plums, and blackcurrants. A glass of this wine will perfectly accompany a cheese plate or a piece of red meat.

Fox Grove – Shiraz - Cabernet
Southhern– Australia – 13.5% Alc. Vol
A blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon which makes this wine typical. It comes from the major wine areas between Adelaide and Melbourne (southern Australia). Mainly from the Munay Darling region. This wine has notes of spices, cherries, blackcurrants, green peppers and liquorice, with a light wooded aroma. It is a round wine with supple tannins and a good persistence. This wine is ideal to pair with red meat, pork meat, salads and different types of cheese.

La Baume Saint-Paul – Viognier
Languedoc-Roussillon– France – 14,5% Alc. Vol.
Domaine de la Baume is located ie heart of the Languedoc near Servian, between Béziers and Pézenas. It is located 20 kilometres inland from the Mediterranean Sea, 50 meters above sea level. This Viognier has rich, fresh aromas of citrus fruits, peach and apricot, as the grape is known for. You’ll experience the same aromas on the palate. The wine is very well balanced with a nice fresh and slightly spicy length. It is best enjoyed with poultry, soft cheeses and Asiatic dishes, such as sushi or curry.
